St John of Beverley Catholic Primary School

A Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Margaret Clitherow Trust in the Diocese of Middlesbrough

Admissions Consultation

Between Friday 3rd December and Monday 17th January, St. Margaret Clitherow Catholic Academy Trust is consulting on the admission arrangements for the 2023-24 school year.  There are changes to the proposed admission numbers for St. John of Beverley from 28 to 30 to provide an admission number that is appropriate for the organisation of classes and use of resources at the school.

Please see a copy of the proposed Admission Policy below.  The policy details the admission arrangements for the school, as well as covering in-year admissions.

Middlesbrough Diocese and East Riding local authority have been informed and are being consulted with, as well as academies who operate a school or maintain a catchment or other priority area within three miles of the school.

During this period we are also interested in the views of any residents, parents/carers or other interested parties, and would ask all views be expressed via email: admissionsconsultation@smccat.org.uk

Following a period of consultation, the admission arrangements will be considered in January 2022 to meet the government’s determination deadline of 28 February 2022.

If you have any further questions on the consultation, please email us at: contact@smccat.org.uk.
